Central Midnight Sale gives eligible KTC cardmembers a narrow window to turn KTC FOREVER points into an immediate in-store discount or later online cashback. The core promotion runs through 5 October 2026. Weekend transactions can reach 18 percent, while selected Krungthai Wealth cards may add up to 7 percent more under separate caps and quotas.
Discount Rates
At Central Department Store, redeem points equal to the purchase amount on one sales slip. Friday, Saturday and Sunday spending of THB 10,000 or more receives an 18 percent additional discount. Weekend spending from THB 3,000 to THB 9,999 receives 16 percent. The everyday rate is 13 percent with no minimum spend.
The same 13, 16 and 18 percent structure applies online through Central App and central.co.th as cashback. Online users must register for each qualifying transaction on the same day and receive a confirmation message. Enter the transaction amount exactly, including decimals and without commas.
Extra Wealth Cashback
Principal cardholders with eligible Krungthai Private Banking, Precious+ or Iconic status can receive an additional 7, 4 or 2 percent cashback respectively. The extra amount is capped at THB 600, THB 400 or THB 200 per cardmember and is subject to limited quotas.
That is how the headline can reach 25 percent: an 18 percent points benefit plus up to 7 percent additional cashback. Most cardholders should plan around the standard 13 to 18 percent rates rather than assuming the maximum applies.
Important Exclusions
KTC excludes several card families, including KTC CASH BACK, Thai Red Cross, corporate and government-service cards. Online cashback also excludes KTC Royal Orchid Plus. One transaction cannot be split into multiple sales slips to manufacture extra eligibility.
The department-store terms exclude categories such as vouchers, alcoholic drinks, medicines and various concession or affiliated-store purchases. Ask at the counter whether the exact item participates before redeeming a large points balance.
Choose Discount Or Cashback
An immediate discount is simplest for an in-store purchase because the saving appears at payment. Online cashback arrives later, and KTC says it will be credited within 60 days after the end of each calendar month. Keep the confirmation and order record until the credit appears.
Use points only when the exchange supports a purchase you planned. Credit-card interest can exceed the promotion’s value, so paying the statement in full remains the cleanest way to preserve the saving.
