KTC JCB cardholders shopping at selected Thai department stores can earn accelerated points through 31 October 2026. The multiplier is based on cumulative eligible spending in each calendar month, not the size of one purchase. That makes the promotion most relevant to households already planning several purchases rather than anyone tempted to spend more solely for points.
No registration is required. Eligible transactions are grouped by month and assigned a two, three or five times rate once the relevant spending band is reached. The extra points are credited later, so keep receipts and review the card statement if a return, cancellation or merchant coding issue could change the monthly total.
Monthly spend tiers
Monthly eligible spending from THB 1 to THB 9,999 earns two times points. Spending from THB 10,000 to THB 99,999 earns three times points. The highest band, THB 100,000 to THB 300,000, earns five times points. The multiplier applies under the campaign formula and is not the same as receiving five reward points for every baht spent.
There is a cap of 48,000 extra points per person per month. Spending above THB 300,000 does not create an unlimited reward. Because the calculation is cumulative, a purchase near the end of October may move the month into another tier, but only if the transaction is posted and classified as eligible under the terms.
Participating stores
The campaign covers participating Central and Robinson department stores, department stores in The Mall group with Power Mall, Siam Takashimaya and selected OPENSPACE brands at Siam Discovery and ICONSIAM. Individual counters can process payments through different merchant systems, so confirm participation before a high-value purchase.
Bangkok shoppers have several qualifying locations, but the benefit is not restricted to the capital. The important check is the participating merchant and card network. Present the KTC JCB card directly, ask whether the counter participates, and avoid assuming that every tenant inside a listed mall belongs to the department-store campaign.
What does not count
Cash advances, interest, fees, refunded purchases, cancelled transactions and spending outside the named merchants do not help the monthly total. Gift cards, prepaid value, online marketplace transactions or purchases processed by a concessionaire may also be treated differently. Ask KTC before buying if the transaction structure is unusual.
Extra points are due within 60 days after the campaign calculation period. Returns made after points are issued can lead to an adjustment. Keep the sales slip and note the posting date, particularly for purchases made during the final days of October.
Use the deal sensibly
Start with a planned shopping list and compare the cash price, warranty and return policy. A multiplier rarely justifies paying more than another retailer. If two stores sell the same item, calculate the points in baht value only after checking KTC’s current redemption rate, then choose on total value rather than the headline multiplier.
The promotion runs from 1 August through 31 October 2026. Pay with the eligible KTC JCB card at the participating counter. No registration step is needed, but cardholders should still retain proof of purchase until the extra points appear.
