Sense of Japan 2026 dining activities at The Okura Prestige Bangkok with 25 percent KTC savings
Six Japanese dining activities are included in the early-booking promotion.

Sense of Japan 2026 brings a compact programme of Japanese dining experiences to The Okura Prestige Bangkok from 6 to 8 November 2026. KTC Visa cardholders who reserve between 15 and 31 October can receive 25% off the listed activities, with net prices published for afternoon tea, several omakase formats, ramen with wagyu curry donburi and a Japanese-themed brunch.

The offer is designed for advance planning rather than a spontaneous walk-in. Reservations are required, places are limited and each card can cover no more than eight people in one booking. Call 02 687 9000, identify the activity and session you want, and mention the KTC Visa privilege before the reservation is confirmed.

Choose your session

The most accessible option is Ramen and Wagyu Curry Donburi at noon on 7 November, priced at THB 446 net per person after the discount. The Japanese-themed brunch follows at 12:30pm on 8 November for THB 2,683 net per person. These two sessions list capacities of 100, making them more suitable for diners who prefer a larger event setting.

For a smaller experience, Okura Afternoon Tea Omakase with Hikari runs at 3pm on 7 and 8 November for THB 1,774 net per person. Only eight places are listed for each round, so have a second session in mind before calling.

Omakase choices

Sushi Kaiseki Omakase with Chef Oishi is scheduled at 7:30pm on 6 and 8 November. Tempura Omakase with Chef Motoyuki of The Okura Tokyo runs at 7:30pm on all three festival days. Both are listed at THB 5,367 net per person after the card discount, down from THB 6,945.

Homeburg Omakase with Chef Taiki of Homeburg BKK is offered at 7:30pm on 6 November, at 2pm and 7:30pm on 7 November, and again at 2pm and 7:30pm on 8 November. Its listed promotional price is THB 3,548 net per person, compared with THB 4,591.

Work out the value

Net pricing is helpful because it reduces uncertainty about service charge and tax on the advertised activity. Still, ask whether beverages, supplements or optional courses sit outside the package. A 25% reduction can disappear quickly if a group assumes every add-on is covered.

The cardholder should remain part of the booking and settle the eligible charge with the participating KTC Visa card. If guests are paying separately, confirm how the restaurant will handle the eight-person limit and whether separate sales slips affect the reservation.

Reservation rules

The early-booking window closes on 31 October 2026, even though the event itself takes place in November. Availability may end earlier because the intimate sessions hold only eight people. Give the reservations team the full name, mobile number, number of guests, dietary needs and preferred session.

The discount cannot be combined with other promotions, and the privilege cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Keep the confirmation message and ask about cancellation terms before paying a deposit. A late cancellation may be handled under the hotel’s event rules rather than the card promotion.

Plan the evening

The Okura Prestige Bangkok is connected to Park Ventures Ecoplex near BTS Phloen Chit. Allow extra time for the lift and hotel reception, especially for the 7:30pm chef sessions. Arriving early also gives staff time to reconfirm allergies and seating without interrupting the meal.

Omakase menus may contain raw seafood, shellfish, egg, soy, wheat and alcohol. Explain serious allergies when booking rather than at the counter. The kitchen may not be able to redesign a fixed menu on the day, so an alternative activity may be the safer choice.
