The 43rd Thailand International Motor Expo runs at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1 to 3 from 2 to 13 December 2026. The event gathers cars across price bands alongside motorcycles, boats, accessories, audio, motorsport displays and related products, so a focused plan is more useful than trying to inspect every stand.
Public show days begin with the charity day on 2 December, followed by the main public period from 3 to 13 December. Entry is THB 100, and the longest opening hours fall on weekends and public holidays.
Dates and hours
The 2 December charity show day runs from 11am to 10pm. From 3 to 13 December, weekday hours are noon to 10pm, while weekends and public holidays run from 11am to 10pm.
Arriving at opening gives more time with popular vehicles before the evening crowd. A late weekday visit can feel calmer, but detailed comparisons become harder when brand staff are handling several groups at once.
Build a shortlist
List the models, body styles or technologies you want to compare before entering. Group them into must-see, useful comparison and curiosity categories, then photograph the hall plan when you arrive.
Buyers should bring measurements for parking spaces, child seats or mobility equipment. A car that looks spacious under exhibition lights can reveal a very different fit when tested against real household needs.

Price conversations
Ask for the total on-road package, finance assumptions, insurance, accessories, delivery estimate and any conditions attached to a show offer. A low monthly figure is incomplete without deposit, term and final cost.
Record the salesperson’s name and the exact written quotation. Do not pay a booking amount until refund conditions, colour and specification, delivery timing and any model-year implications are clear.
Activities and zones
The programme includes test-drive areas, motorsport and club zones, a 4×4 driving school, young-artist activities and the F1 in Schools Thailand STEM Challenge. Check the daily timetable because not every activity runs continuously.
Families can divide the day between major vehicle halls and activity areas. Set meeting points in advance, since the three Challenger halls are large and phone reception can become unreliable in a crowded exhibition.

Getting to IMPACT
IMPACT Muang Thong Thani is outside central Bangkok. Public transport connections have improved, but the final route and walking distance depend on the service used. Check IMPACT’s current visitor directions shortly before departure.
If driving, note the parking location and hall entrance before going inside. At closing time, allow for queues around pickup areas and avoid booking a fixed dinner across town immediately after the show.
What to bring
Wear comfortable shoes, carry a small power bank and use a note template for price, specification, warranty and delivery. Repeating the same fields for each vehicle makes later comparison far easier.
Visitors who only want photographs should avoid blocking doors, dashboards and consultation tables. Ask before sitting in restricted vehicles or filming staff and other guests.

Comparing electric vehicles
For an electric model, compare usable battery capacity, charging curve, connector, home-charger requirements and warranty rather than relying on one range figure. Ask what test standard produced the quoted distance and how motorway speed, passenger load and air-conditioning may change it.
Apartment residents should confirm whether a charger can be installed or whether dependable public charging exists near home and work. A promotional wall box has little value if building approval, cabling or meter arrangements prevent installation. Include those costs and delays in the buying decision.
Use the show to compare boot shape, rear-seat comfort and charging-port placement across several cars, then schedule a road test away from the exhibition. Lighting and stationary displays cannot reveal ride comfort, visibility, steering or cabin noise. A refundable reservation still deserves written terms before payment.
After the show
Sort quotations while the details are fresh. Separate manufacturer incentives from dealer additions, and mark any item that was promised verbally but does not appear in writing. Contact the salesperson for a corrected quotation before comparing final costs.
Do not let an exhibition deadline replace due diligence. Check insurance, financing, charging or fuel costs, service access and resale assumptions at home. A model that wins on show-floor excitement may lose when the full ownership routine is mapped against the household budget.
