The offer covers eligible Economy, Premium Economy and Business bookings to destinations in Asia, Europe and the United States. Bookings run from 6 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, with travel permitted from 6 July 2026 to 30 June 2028.
The percentage applies to the eligible fare, not taxes, airport charges or every optional service. Book directly through the STARLUX website or app, enter the public campaign code shown in the live KTC terms and pay with an eligible KTC card. A separate 15% cashback route uses KTC points and has an earlier 2026 transaction window, so calculate it independently rather than assuming the two benefits automatically stack.
Start With The Route
The itinerary must originate in Thailand from Bangkok or Chiang Mai. Check the full routing, operating carrier and connection time before comparing prices. A lower base fare can be poor value if it requires an inconvenient connection or a restrictive ticket. Search the same dates without the code as a control, then compare the final card charge after taxes. Currency conversion and foreign transaction treatment may matter if checkout is not processed in Thai baht.
Use The Direct Channel
The public code is intended for bookings through the airline’s website or mobile app. A travel agent, marketplace or bundled hotel package may not qualify even if it displays a STARLUX flight. Enter the code before selecting the final fare and confirm that the reduction appears in the price breakdown. If it disappears after changing dates or cabin, return to the fare selection rather than paying and hoping for a later adjustment.
Read Fare Rules
Five per cent off is valuable only when the ticket still matches your plans. Compare checked baggage, seat selection, changes, refunds, no-show rules and mileage earning. The cheapest fare family can carry stricter conditions than a slightly higher option. For long-haul travel, also review connection protection and overnight timing. Save the confirmation and fare rules at purchase because the conditions attached to your ticket govern later changes.
Separate The Cashback
KTC also publishes a 15% cashback route for eligible transactions from 6 July to 31 December 2026. It requires points equal to the purchase amount and same-day registration, and cashback can take up to 60 days after the calendar month ends. That is not the same as an instant airfare reduction. Check excluded cards, points balance, registration confirmation and monthly campaign limits before valuing it as money saved.
Compare The Points Cost
Points have an opportunity cost. Before exchanging a large balance, compare the promised cashback with what those points could achieve in another redemption. Do not top up a travel plan merely to use points. If the card account will be closed, upgraded or changed before cashback arrives, ask KTC how that affects eligibility. Keep the ticket receipt, card transaction and registration message until the credit is visible.
Protect The Booking
Enter names exactly as shown on passports and check transit or entry requirements for every stop. The cardholder may need to be involved if payment verification is requested. Never send card details or a one-time password to someone claiming to secure the fare. If the airline site errors after authorisation, check email and the card account before trying again to avoid duplicate bookings.
