Kunawong House Museum is a private art museum in Ladprao built around collector Sermkhun Kunawong’s holdings. The collection began in 1992 and later absorbed works from the Bangkok Sculpture Center after it closed in 2022. Visitors move through ancient objects, Western-influenced Thai art, contemporary work, furniture, sculpture and purpose-built spaces rather than a conventional white-cube gallery alone.
General admission is currently offered on Sundays from 9.30am to 6pm. Adult tickets cost THB 450, children aged one to ten cost THB 250 and infants under one enter free. That ticket covers the Cubic Building’s seven exhibition zones, the Buddhist Sanctuary and the Garden of Life. The Residence requires the separate guided programme, with an English session listed from 10am to noon.

Children are welcome, but those under eight must remain closely supervised. Running, touching, climbing and loud behaviour can endanger both a child and the collection. Preview the two-hour Residence tour before booking a very young visitor, and build in a quiet break. Outside food and drinks are prohibited in museum areas. The garden may help reset attention, but the same care around sculpture still applies.
Reach Ladprao 54
The museum is at 33 Soi Ladprao 54 in Wang Thonglang. Chok Chai 4 station on the MRT Yellow Line is about a 400-metre walk from Exit 4. The soi extends away from the main road, so use the saved map rather than relying only on the street number. A taxi can enter to the end of the soi. Allow extra time on Sunday if road traffic is heavy.

Read a little about the Bangkok Sculpture Center before arrival, then choose a few works to study rather than photographing everything. Ask the guide how the collection moved from a sculpture centre into a house museum and how the architecture shapes the display.
