Thai Airways Bangkok to Hong Kong offer

Thai Airways and KTC have a route-specific saving for travellers planning Hong Kong. Each eligible passenger receives THB 500 off a round-trip fare from Bangkok when the ticket is purchased through the campaign booking link with promotional code KTCHK.

Tickets must be booked and issued from 1 October to 31 December 2026. Travel can take place from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027, giving the offer a longer flying window than booking window. Eligible Royal Silk and Economy fares are included.

Book through the campaign

Use the dedicated Thai Airways booking link supplied on the KTC promotion page, select a Bangkok-Hong Kong round trip, and enter KTCHK. Pay with an eligible KTC credit card. The named cardholder must travel and may be asked to present the card and identification.

Check that the promotional reduction appears before payment. A lower fare found through another channel may still beat the campaign price, so compare the final total on matching flights, dates, cabin and fare conditions instead of comparing only the advertised saving.

What the discount covers

The THB 500 benefit applies to the airfare for each eligible passenger. It does not reduce taxes, airport fees, fuel surcharges, insurance or optional services. Children and infants are excluded, so a family booking will not necessarily receive the reduction for every traveller.

The offer is designed for round trips departing Bangkok. Do not assume one-way tickets, journeys starting in Hong Kong or itineraries with a different routing will qualify. If the booking engine does not show the code’s benefit, stop before payment and check the campaign terms.

Changes need attention

Promotional tickets still carry fare rules. KTC states that date changes will be charged at the full applicable amount, which can erase a modest upfront saving. Read the change, refund, baggage and no-show conditions attached to the exact fare you select.

Choose dates you can keep, particularly around holidays and major Hong Kong events. Travel insurance may help with specified disruptions, but it does not make every voluntary change free. Keep the fare rules and confirmation email with your trip records.

An optional points choice

KTC also references its wider Fly Forever points programme, through which eligible travellers may register for 15% cashback using points on the transaction date. That is separate from the KTCHK fare code and has its own registration, points and campaign rules.

Do not assume the benefits stack automatically. Compare the points cost, cashback timing and any cap before registering. If you are uncertain, ask KTC to confirm how the two benefits interact for your specific transaction before issuing a non-refundable ticket.

Before you fly

Check passport validity, entry requirements and your preferred airport-transfer plan well before departure. The cardholder should carry the KTC card used to buy the tickets together with matching identification. Recheck the flight schedule through Thai Airways as travel day approaches.
