Shamen by SEKI and KTC promotion

Shamen by SEKI has two KTC routes for diners who want to reduce a Bangkok Japanese meal bill. The campaign runs from 1 October 2026 through 31 March 2027, with an immediate THB 200 discount for qualifying KTC Mastercard payments and a separate points-based cashback choice for eligible KTC cardmembers.

The two routes have different spend thresholds and should be treated as alternatives. Decide which benefit fits your bill before the terminal is used, tell the cashier clearly, and keep the sales slip until any cashback has appeared on the account.

Immediate saving

The simplest route is for eligible KTC Mastercard holders. Spend at least THB 2,500 in one sales slip and receive THB 200 off immediately. The reduction should appear at payment, so mention the campaign before the cashier closes the bill.

The privilege is limited to one redemption per sales slip. KTC lists a monthly allocation of 50 privileges and a campaign-wide allocation of 300, which means the offer can become unavailable even before the published end date if the quota is reached.

Points cashback

A second route is available to eligible KTC cardmembers who spend at least THB 1,000 in one sales slip. Redeem 1,499 KTC FOREVER points to receive THB 200 credit cashback, subject to the campaign conditions and available quota.

This route needs same-day registration through the KTC channel specified for the promotion. Complete that step while you still have the receipt, because a late registration may not be accepted even when the restaurant transaction itself was eligible.

Choose one route

The immediate discount suits a larger bill and avoids spending reward points. The cashback option has a lower transaction threshold, but it uses 1,499 points and the credit is not the same as money taken off at the restaurant counter.

Compare the final value rather than assuming points are free. If the meal comfortably clears THB 2,500 and you hold a participating Mastercard, the immediate saving is easier to track. For a smaller qualifying bill, the points route may be the only listed choice.

Before ordering

Confirm that the restaurant is processing the current Shamen by SEKI campaign and that your specific KTC card qualifies. Campaign pages can be amended, while allocations and merchant participation may change during a long promotional period.

If you are dining as a group, ask whether one combined bill is sensible. Splitting the table into several receipts does not create extra privileges unless each transaction independently meets every condition, and the one-per-slip rule still applies.

At the counter

Present the physical or accepted digital card payment method before the bill is finalised. State whether you want the KTC Mastercard discount or the KTC FOREVER points cashback route, then check the receipt for the qualifying transaction amount.

Do not assume another restaurant voucher or set-menu promotion will stack. Ask the team to compare the available totals, including any service charge and VAT, so you can choose the option that leaves the lowest genuine final cost.

Campaign timing

The published campaign period ends on 31 March 2027. A booking made before that date does not necessarily secure the benefit if payment occurs later, so check the transaction date and current conditions when planning a visit near the end of the offer.

For the points option, retain the sales slip and registration confirmation until the THB 200 credit appears. If the credit does not arrive within the stated processing period, those records make a query with KTC much easier to resolve.
